Post-Doctoral Fellows, Department of Urology University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas

Two post-doctoral fellow positions are available to work on NIH funded project to understand transcriptional regulation of apoptotic genes during prostate carcinogenesis in the laboratory of Dr. Pratap Kumar in the Department of Urology, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Prior experience with cell culture, rodent models, general molecular biological (gel electrophoreses, Western blotting, RT-PCR, transfection; nucleic acid and protein extraction from cells and tissues), histological, and bacteriological techniques is necessary. US citizenship or permanent residency is a requirement for one of these positions. Salary commensurate considered with experience in addition to generous fringe benefits. All post-doctoral appointments are designated as security sensitive positions.
