PhD Health Law and Policy Scholarship - Australia (Scholarship)


Scholarship Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for an ARC-funded PhD scholarship, commencing in 2009 or early 2010. The scholarship is offered through an ARC Federation Fellowship held by Professor David Studdert. It will be based at the University’s Law School and School of Population Health. The scholarship holder’s research will address a topic falling within one of the broad themes of the Federation Fellowship, which include health-related regulation and litigation, consumer protection issues, coronial processes and injury prevention. Applicants should hold an honours degree in law, medicine or the health sciences. Prior training in statistics, mathematics or quantitative methods is desirable but not essential.
